I used to have chronic or recurring styes. One would clear up and then I would get another one. It was really frustrating. Learn what I discovered to help prevent styes.
For about a year, I had recurring or chronic styes. A stye is a red bump that forms on your eyelid. A stye is a clogged gland that is near where your eyelash connects to your eyelid. These glands produce a lubricant that helps to protect and moisturize your eyes. Rubbing your eyes (as the result of allergies or other irritation) can introduce bacteria to those glands and cause a stye.
A note: I am not a doctor and this is not medical advice. It is not intended to diagnose or treat any medical issue. It is just my experience.
